This award-winning Hyatt Place can be found in the heart of the business district close to some of Chicago’s best offerings. A modern design with a custom Lobby and Amenities features a full-service bar, ample Meeting Space, and an indoor pool. Paragon provided the lighting design and door and hardware consulting as well as supplied the complete lighting and door packages. This project was challenging from a lighting perspective to specify and supply “Chicago Plenum” rated light fixtures that were LED and met the design intent, budget, and Hyatt’s requirements. Paragon also coordinated the Saflok cardlock package for the owner. Additionally, Paragon selected, engineered, installed and programmed the color changing light fixtures on the “living” focal wall in the Lobby that slowly morphs through the day and night. This project finished 2 months ahead of schedule led by the general contractor, Lend Lease.
